Engineering Manager – Data Center Projects

Our client a leading engineering firm with a growing data center portfolio is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the technical delivery of high voltage substation design packages for hyperscale and utility-scale projects across the U.S.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and lead technical execution of high-voltage substation projects (from 69kV to 500kV) supporting data center infrastructure.
Collaborate closely with Project Managers on scope, budget, and client interface while managing all engineering deliverables.
Provide technical guidance to a multi-disciplinary team of engineers and designers across physical, protection & control, and civil disciplines.
Review and validate all engineering documents to ensure compliance with industry codes, safety standards, and project specifications.
Coordinate with client stakeholders, contractors, and utility partners during design and construction phases.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Power Systems Engineering.
Professional Engineer (PE or P.Eng) license.
Demonstrated experience managing the design execution of substations within the Power Market or data center sector.
Strong understanding of utility interconnection requirements, equipment specs, and substation protection schemes.
