We’re supporting a UAE owner/developer building new DC capacity. They need a practical Project Manager who can turn design into buildable workfronts, keep trades honest, and hand a clean job to Commissioning.
Role snapshot
Own scope, schedule, cost and quality from pre-con through TCO for a 10–30 MW phase (with follow-on pipeline). Lean team, quick decisions, real ownership.
What you’ll do
Drive pre-con: constructability, phasing, logistics, and long-lead procurement (switchgear, UPS, transformers, chillers).
Run field delivery across civil/structural/architectural and full MEP; manage GC/trades to manpower and sequence.
Interface with utilities and authorities for permits, outages, and inspections.
Align with Commissioning (L1–L5/IST) and Operations on readiness gates and turnover artifacts.
Enforce quality (ITPs, mock-ups, inspections), safety (PTW/LOTO, lift plans), and document hygiene (redlines/as-builts).
Control change and risk; support CO/EOT files; publish weekly exec dashboards (critical path, cost exposure, risks).
You bring
8–12+ years in mission-critical or large MEP builds; at least one DC phase delivered end-to-end.
Strong GC/trade leadership, commercial basics (GMP/CO), and authority/utility coordination in the UAE/GCC.
Confident with MV/LV distribution, mechanical plants, and BMS/EPMS interfaces.
Clear English reporting; Arabic a plus. Degree in Construction/MEP/EE/ME.
Location & travel: Dubai or Abu Dhabi with UAE site travel.
Package (guide): Tax-free base + annual bonus; housing/transport allowances; medical; visa/relocation.
