Our client is scaling new and retrofit DC capacity across SG and nearby metros. They’re hiring a Data Center Energy & Sustainability Lead to cut PUE/WUE, unlock incentive schemes, and deliver credible decarbonization (electrical + mechanical + ops).
Role snapshot
Own the sustainability roadmap for a multi-site portfolio—audits, targets, business cases, and delivery. Partner with Design, Construction, and Ops to land measurable gains (not just slideware).
What you’ll do
Build site-level and portfolio energy plans: PUE/WUE targets, load curves, peak shaving, demand response.
Lead retrofit programs (free-cooling adjacencies, CRAH/CRAC optimization, controls tuning, CDU/heat-recovery pilots).
Drive grid & renewables strategy (PPAs/RECs), metering upgrades, and carbon accounting (Scopes 1–3).
Standardize monitoring & reporting: BMS/EPMS KPIs, sustainability dashboards, audit evidence.
Write investment cases with payback/IRR; secure vendor/OEM slots; manage QA and M&V post-install.
Guide sustainable design inputs for new builds (envelope, plant selection, liquid-cooling readiness).
You bring
8–12+ yrs in mission-critical/industrial energy; solid mechanical/electrical fundamentals.
Hands-on with DC plant optimization (chillers, CRAH/CRAC, controls) and/or liquid-cooling adjacency.
Proven business-case storytelling (capex vs. opex, risk, incentives).
Clear stakeholder comms; comfortable with regulators/authorities.
Package (guide)
SGD 220k–300k total cash + STI; benefits; relocation considered.
