The mandate

This role is for a hands-on project leader who can run a site or package with discipline and pace. The AVP will own day-to-day delivery execution—driving schedule, quality, and stakeholder management in a mission-critical build environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead construction execution for a site or major scope within a data center program

  • Run weekly delivery rhythm: lookaheads, constraints, RFIs/submittals, change control, and field coordination

  • Hold GC/trades accountable on sequencing, manpower, quality, and safety

  • Coordinate with design/engineering, procurement, commissioning, and operations to keep critical path protected

  • Produce decision-grade reporting: risks, milestones, cost/schedule impacts, and mitigation actions

  • Ensure turnover readiness: punch, QA/QC, documentation, and commissioning handover alignment

Ideal background

  • Experience delivering mission-critical/data center construction in an owner’s rep, developer, GC, or EPC environment

  • Strong understanding of MEP coordination and why projects slip (and how to prevent it)
