​As an Asset Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the strategic and operational management of a portfolio of power generation assets. Your focus will be on enhancing asset value through business planning, performance optimization, risk management, and stakeholder engagement. This role demands strong financial acumen, operational insight, and the ability to lead high-impact initiatives across the asset lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic & Business Planning

  • Lead short- and long-term planning activities including strategy formulation, budgeting, and KPIs.

  • Identify and implement value-creation initiatives and growth opportunities across assets.

  • Develop comprehensive business cases and decision-support reports for senior leadership.

Asset Performance & Financial Optimization

  • Conduct detailed financial modelling, forecasting, and operational analysis to optimize asset returns.

  • Monitor key asset metrics and recommend strategies to improve efficiency, reliability, and profitability.

  • Benchmark asset performance and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Governance, Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure alignment with corporate governance, regulatory standards, and internal policies.

  • Maintain and manage asset-level risk registers and mitigation strategies.

  • Support contract negotiations, manage contractual obligations, and maintain compliance with legal frameworks.

Stakeholder Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal business units, operating companies, regulators, and external partners.

  • Represent asset interests in board meetings, joint venture committees, and external engagements.

  • Communicate complex technical and financial matters clearly to diverse stakeholder groups.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Must be a UAE National.

Experience & Skills

  • 8–10 years of experience in asset management within energy, utilities, infrastructure, or construction sectors.

  • Strong expertise in financial modeling, operational performance analysis, and asset lifecycle management.

  • Deep knowledge of regulatory compliance, risk management, and governance frameworks.

  • Proven experience managing complex contracts and leading negotiations.

  • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and presentation skills.

  • Strategic thinker with problem-solving skills and a high level of attention to detail.
