Responsible for the engineering content of the company’s completion, stimulation, well testing, workover and intervention programs. Develops programs aimed at efficient operations, long term integrity and maximized production.
HSE Accountability
1. Supports implementation of all applicable HSE policies and initiatives.
Completions, Well testing, Workover and Intervention Operations
2. Prepares specifications for completion, well testing, workover and well intervention related equipment and services in accordance with company and industry standards.
3. Works closely with the production, drilling, and well integrity engineers to ensure operational integrity, feasibility and efficiency of the final programs.
4. Prepares the relevant sections of the End of Well Report (EOWR).
5. Captures Lessons Learned during operations and ensures the lessons are captured in the EOWR and implemented in future programs.
6. Supports the Drilling Superintendents and Supervisors and ensures all programs are implemented according to plans in a safe and efficient manner.
7. Ensures compliance with all Crescent Petroleum’s Standards and requirements of the subsurface team.
8. Writes Management of Change (MOC) documents when operational changes are required and ensures the established MOC process is followed.
9. Communicates effectively to ensure all objectives of the programs, policies and standards are understood by all concerned parties.
10. Reviews equipment planning with Drilling Supervisors and Material & Logistics Coordinators to ensure timely equipment arrivals and backloading.
11. Performs wellsite visits when required to ensure programs and procedures are conducted in compliance with applicable policies.
12. Prepares to AFE Time & Cost estimates and monitors the same on a daily basis ensuring variances are promptly highlighted to relevant departments.
Educational Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum or Mechanical Engineering.
Minimum 15 years’ oilfield experience in complex completions, stimulation, well testing, workover and interventions. Experience with H2S environment is preferred.
