Petrogate are recruiting for Head of Oil and Gas operations on behalf of an oil and gas business based in Doha, Qatar.
Provide managerial support for company's Oil & Gas projects, ensuring value perception and setting milestones.
Direct project teams in planning strategies, policies, and programs to achieve project objectives.
Manage project budgets, work schedules, and contract agreements with subcontractors.
Support HR in selecting and managing project team members.
Ensure procurement of suitable equipment and materials in accordance with technical developments and quality specifications.
Develop, modify, and implement systems, policies, and procedures for smooth operations.
Analyze engineering aspects, project status, and financial management, recommending and implementing approved changes.
Achieve targets in invoicing, collection, performance, and productivity while controlling project costs.
Ensure project completion within the stipulated timeframe and client satisfaction.
Provide feedback on project estimates, pricing, and contract issues to the tendering and business development team.
Monitor quality, health, safety, and environmental performance.
Encourage staff involvement in the management of the Integrated Management System (IMS).
Implement programs for subordinates' skills development and contribute to the division's objectives.
Possess strong leadership, technical, communication, and team development skills.
Ability to direct diverse project engineering professionals and drive productivity improvement.
Strong strategic thinking and ability to provide useful advice at the senior executive level.
Skills:
15-20 years of Oil & Gas experience, with 5-7 years in a similar director/advisory capacity.
Qatar experience in leading large-scale Oil & Gas projects.
Strong understanding of industry developments and technical skills in Oil & Gas operations.
Effective communicator in writing, presentations, and interpersonal interactions.
Ability to envision the big picture and provide strategic advice and input.
